What is The Liebster Award?

The Liebster award is given to upcoming bloggers who have less than 200 followers. The meaning: Liebster is German and means sweetest, kindest, nicest, dearest, beloved, lovely, kind, pleasant, valued, cute, endearing and welcome.

11 random things about me!

1.  I have been falling asleep to one of the Harry Potter movies every night for at least the last 5 years.

2.  I have insane fake bird fetish.  There are figurines, pictures, and cloth birds in every one of my rooms.
3.  After 11 years of French I can speak about 10 words.  This doesn't stop me from wanting to move  there every waking moment.
4.  I prefer dresses and stockings over jeans and t shirts.
5.  I like to eat any foods that involve something relatively liquid (soup, cereal, yogurt, ice cream) out of a cup rather than a bowl.
6.  I was born in Miami, Florida and started taking Spanish in Kindergarten.  We moved when I was 10 hence having no language skills.
7.  I hate spicy food, unless it's Indian or Korean... I'm such a pansy normally but I can eat kimchi till I cry and sweat.
8.  I haven't "washed" my hair in almost a year.  I went "no-poo" and use baking soda instead.
9.  I have been sleeping with the same stuffed animal since I was 2.  I realized my puppy had no name when I was 15 and decided that Puppy was a perfect name.
10.  Despite living in Colorado I haven't been skiing or camping more than once in the last 10 years.
11.  I am addicted to diet pepsi.  I cut down from 10 a day to around 6.

Mary-Morgan's 11 Questions

1.  What is your favorite color?  green has always been my favorite color maybe this is due to Doctor Seuss and having "Sam I am green eggs and ham" stuck in my head.
2.  Are you a day person or a night person?  Absolutely a night person!
3.  Coffee or hot chocolate? Coffee daily, but a nice hot chocolate treat is always welcome.
4.  What would your perfect day consist of?  Waking up in France with someone I love with a dog and a kid jumping up and down.  Drinking coffee, fixing breakfast, playing with my kids and teaching them random crafts and letting them throw paint anywhere the wanted.
5.  What is your favorite teevee show, you watched when you were growing up? She-ra the Princess of Power
6.  Do you craft? If so, what is your favorite thing to craft?  Yes! Jewelry making is my favorite because the outcome is wearable.
7.  What is your favorite holiday?  Thanksgiving, all the food is sooooo good and the company is even better.  It kicks off the holiday season and I get to listen to the Cinnamon Bear; a 1930's radio show that was recorded from Thanksgiving to Christmas Eve.
8.  Harry Potter or Lord of the Rings? Harry Potter!
9.  What would be your last meal? (Goddesses forbid you are ever on death row) cheetos, diet pepsi, ice cream, french fries, and some sort of bbq sandwich.
10.  What would your perfect outfit look like? head to toe!  gucci flats, black tights, a burberry dress and chanel belt. 
11. What is your heritage and what is your favorite thing about it?  Armenian, Bohemian, French and Irish.  I love the Armenian food and the French culture the best !
