Denver was absolutely graced with the Yves Saint Laurent exhibition. I have to admit that I have the patience of a 5 year old. Luckily this exhibit kept every sense working in overdrive. From the amazing flowing material, to the creation of the woman's paint suit, I had no idea that such an illustrious designer had such a rich life. While walking through the exhibit you could transport yourself to Paris, France; this was aided by the French videos and interviews given by Yves Saint Laurent. Hearing the language and the accents while gazing at some of the most influential fashion designs was a gift to the mind and eye. I left feeling inspired, and with a new appreciation of YSL, tutorials to come based on this experience.
